I use Google Gadgets for weather, stock quotes, and RSS feeds. It would be great if I could hang gadgets on the wall so I dont have to use a Google sidebar anymore. It doesnt matter to me who makes the gadgets, as long as they are open source so anyone can contribute their own gadgets.

I think, maybe, more like a combination of BumpTop widgets with a widget that was a container for other widgets (like Yahoo/Google).

Using your computer is more and more equal to using your web browser. It might be cool to use the walls to hang gadgets, or other stuff which are on peoples igoogle page nowadays. To take this further, just hanging any application on the wall might be great?

Integration for Vista's gadgets would probably be the best decision, seeing as many people use things from system information gadgets, like network activity and CPU/RAM usage. Adding just Vista sidebar gadget compatibility would open up a large pool of gadgets to use, as well as Google gadgets.

I have just installed this program and I immediately fell in love with it but I think it could do with some improvement and found myself here. After looking around for a little while I saw that a lot of the suggestions could be solved with widgets. You could have support for the most popular widgets such as windows vista, googles and yahoo widgets I think this would really kick off in a big way.

also, make it Yahoo! Widgets compatible... although, since Yahoo doesn't have a sidebar (but an auto-hiding little widget bar that sits at the top of your screen), I can have the widgets run in the foreground and the desktop in the background... although, it would be cool to be able to hang the widgets on the wall... although, if you want Vista gadgets to work, you have to have sidebar running... which means more resources being used.
